Ok, so I needed more memory for my laptop at home (Ok, I really didn't *need* it, but I wanted it). I had 128MB in it and I wanted to get another 256MB. So, I asked Kris, here at Stardock, where he thought I should order it, since he seems to know these things. He said "Crucial", which is located at, you guessed it: www.crucial.com
So,
Saturday Morning I finally get off my butt and go to the site and order it. They have a handy little "wizard" that walks you through finding the memory for your computer, which was helpfull for me because ThinkPads have about 900 different types of memory depending on the model. So, I find the one I need. It was only $89.95 +tax (shipping is free). Then, I noticed, there was a $30 coupon. So, all in all, it cost me a total of $64.00 (with tax) for 256MB.
But, wait! That wasn't the best part! I got home yesterday (Monday) and it was there!
Then, I open up my laptop, stick it in, and there were absolutely *NO* problems with it!
If you need memory, try Crucial. It was the cheapest, fasted and most hassle free way of getting memory.
