I downloaded the free version of ObjectDock and quickly realized that I needed/wanted the Aero feature based on the way that I work which in turn meant that I would have to download and pay for the full version...no problem...

I downloaded the full version and enabled the Aero feature but it does work in the same way that it does with the normal / traditional taskbar and here is why...

I i) regularly store icons / items on my desktop when I work and ii) regularly have a number of different Windows Explorer windows open / running concurrently...I then cleanup / file the items on my desktop as follows:

1) drag the icon / file over the Windows Explorer icon on the taskbar which displays in Aero view the different Windows Explorer windows that are open

2) drag and hold the icon / file over the Windows Explorer window that I want to deposit file in which open that specific Windows Explorer window

3) release the icon / file.

Using the above workflow 2) and 3) do not work which makes ObjectDock less that useful  to me and, as such, can you please let me know how to achieve what I am looking for.
