I've had the WinCustomize Skin Browser for a little over a week, and when I went to use it this morning, I received a dialog box that told me that it has expired and that I should go to the wincustomize.com site to download a new version.
A few problems/observations:
* One, I can't find a link at the wincustomize site for downloading a new version. The only way I can see to get a download is to subscribe, and I'm not going to fall for that again (see below).
* Two, there's no way to contact WinCustomize to notify them of this problem. If WinCustomize wants to have subscription revenue, they need to provide some support and make it easily accessible to members. Big black mark.
* Three, personally I'm disappointed with the Skin Browser and wish I hadn't bothered, especially when I end up wasting my time chasing around after expiring versions that shouldn't be expiring. I think the SB functionality is pretty lame and not worth the cost. Perhaps the subscription can be justified in the name of supporting skinning, but if anyone is thinking of subscribing just in order to get the SB, think again.
