This post is mainly for the Stardock tech team.
After countless days of trying to figure out how to open a .dockzip file with virtually no information regarding this topic other than others, like me, trying to open these files, and trying every suggestion found, I finally succeeded. Out of sheer frustration and with nothing to lose, I used my right click menu to open with ObjectDock and it worked like a charm.
My question is why does no one at Stardock know this? I read about the frustration and lack of product material, and I read the responses which frankly, are utterly lacking in helpfulness most of the time for those of us trying to make use of the products you sell and promote, and I am amazed your company is still in business. It has to be the products (the ones I have purchased are awesome).
Well, now you have the answer to a question that has plagued many of a purchaser of your software, and it is so simple. Using the right click context menu, open the .dockzip file with ObjectDock. This only has to be done once. Just double-click on any subsequent .dockzip files and your file is opened and automatically placed in the correct folder - much easier than dealing with zip files.
New ObjectDock users who have .dockzip files downloaded, but unopened, will be alot happier with you all.
