We actually take the policy that people who are disruptive are eventually banned (exiled) and posts if they get out of hand are deleted (or individual posts can be deleted as well those that's very rare). But typically the person being disruptive on the site is warned and then banned. That doesn't happen often either but occasionally you get people who make racist posts or use excessive profanity or mass personal attacks on someone, etc. We just don't want those kinds of people here.

The difference between the people who hang out here and the people on cust is that on cust there's a large population of people who just go out of their way to be nasty. There's a guy there called Max something or other whose the posterchild for that kind. Darwn may know him...

yes thehamster I am Maximillian on custo and many other skin sites too, I have been here for a while now browsing the plentiful skins and submissions this site has to offer, and just started using the msg boards, i merely voiced my opinions, and moved on, can we be friends i dont want to argue anymore.

So, will you be warning yourself first, or go straight to banning yourself? Since it's the first offense (in this thread, anyway) in recent times, I'd say a warning would be enough.

it's probably in funk & wagnel's slang dictionary - but the short answer is, no.

Your mother is a whore - and I mean that in a -good- way. All due respect.

Was that an insult? I put the appropriate weasel words around it, so it can't be, right? I'm betting anyone you said that to would still take it as an insult...

Point is, it was insulting. I took it as an attack, as I think most would (wait, I'm not popular here - so I'm sure I'll be told I'm wrong, most of you would love nothing better than to be told that you have a high & mighty attitude... sigh). So that leaves the question: will frogboy be warning himself first? Or will he go straight to the ban?

The Frog Man actually said "mass personal attacks". I don't think that saying that one satement can be construed (at least not logically) as a "mass" attack. It's funny how things can so easily be taken out of context and taken to an extreme, isn't it?

Maybe instead of "warning" Frogboy, we can slap him around with a dead trout....actually, a trout might be too large and too expensive....I have a plastic Iguana on my desk that I could throw at him when he comes in, though, if that would make things OK. How does that sound, Shog?

lol, clash of the titans...

I would love to see an all out slagging match between Frogboy, Shoggot, Miriku, Jark, Jier, Chaz and Gorman.

Shoggot, Miriku and Jier often come across as the bad boys of the community. - Anti-corporate, freeware lovin', rebel warriors of the people... men on a mission.

On the other hand you have Frogboy, Jark, Chaz and Gorman - the noble mediator fighters for freedom, fairness and global harmony & balance.
