Help with ID'ing Windows 'Skinnable' elements within WindowBlinds

What Are the List Items?

Greetings all,

I'm wondering whether anyone might tell me if there may exist somewhere a Site, Page, *.pdf or such, which explains and identifies what each of the things are in WB, in (the "Colours" tab) - the List shown when selecting "Change Skin System Colours..." ..?

Discounting those list items that are self-evident ('Window', 'Scroll-bar', etc.), I've no idea what most things are in that list.

Is there any such help available anywhere?

Or..... do it the hardcore way: Download a/any skin. Alter different parts of the skin and see what does what. That's how I learned to skin WB, some 10 years ago.

Hmm... I think you would be helped by looking at a tutorial for skinning a Blind. There you´ll get the names for most of the parts... LINK

Unfortunately, I find no help in any of those links.

I don't have Skin Studio nor time or inclination to create skins myself (tho' it would be very cool and frustratingly fun, I'll bet! - and I much admire and appreciate those who have and do!) - I'd just like to know what each of those Listed Items actually is ... So I can try to 'fix' a couple issues here in my favorite skin.

..It looks as tho' that's what I'll have to do... I was hoping for a less 'experimental' approach, but - ok... I'll see then.

The best way to learn how Windowblinds 'tick' is by trial and error.
Due to it's intricate complexity there are no 100% complete list of 'WindowBlinds - what does what' - not even of SkinStudio (SKS), the tool to create the actual skins.
Would be real handy, though.
