Hope the hard drive install goes ok. I recently fitted a 250Gb to mine to replace an ailing 80Gb. Space, need more space... hehe, I've now got 1/2 Tb of storage on tap. Is that excessive? Fuzzy Logic *innocent look No 22*

I have all that storage space for back-ups. I have too many important things here to take any chances. Like all my photos for example, especially now I use digital. I have them on three seperate discs at all times. Could you imagine losing all your photos just for the sake of not spending £100 on a couple of discs... 

I also take daily back-ups of my O/s / proggies. If I have any problems a restore is only 10-15 mins away.

As for the furry animals, sigh, they all seem to be in hibernation...

I don't know what's happened to me. I'm on my third skin this week. Must be lack of chocolate...

in the beginning, this world was a far different place. in our long and turbulent history we have survived many tests and trials. yet it seems that the latest test, the test of time, is proving the hardest of them all.

there are many and varied reasons for what has happened, some of them are known to me, and some i am yet to discover.

still, it seems to me that it is time to stand firm, and to stand up for what we believe in, and what we know to be true!
