TheGreenReaper - Now, IE only has to worry about theming on XP. There, too, IE paints it's own scrollbars, but it does it by finding out what the scrollbars look like on it's own. Since it only does this on XP, though, WB can only skin it on XP.
yep, that is what i understood.
however, my question is, can the "bit" of IE that does this be "ported" across to other versions of windows?
i suspect that this may be possible by hacking around with the dll type files. i dont like that personally, but would like a nice stardock solution to this
since WebBlinds already links its self into IE for skinning (doing the buttons, ect), i am wondering if a future version could also link in and override IE's internal scroll bar picture "mechanism", emulating the XP style, thus taking advantage of the XP IE scroll bar skining.
does anyone see what i am getting at, or have i lost you all?
