It's been a long time since I posted here, I've been out of the desktopx loop until recently when I was able to return to it.
I originally began working on a Steampunk theme, with animated icons, wallpaper, date and calendar app, and a weather widget. This theme is currently still in process and not available for download as of yet, and at this time ONLY used on my own private workstation. Once I've completed the project and received permissions responses it will be made available if approved.
Preview: Here's a youtube video I did for Family and Friends to check it out:
(the weather app, and revised calendar app [date & calendar] are not shown, along with a few other new objects)
Keep in mind, I'm still kind of a noob at this stuff.
DATE WIDGET ISSUES:
What I've noticed is that the Date refuses to update after midnight when the date changes. I went back, reread and walked through the "Time, Date & More" tutorial at https://www.stardock.com/products/desktopx/documentation/DX-Date-Time.asp but whether working in builder or exported to an .exe, if I go to my workstations time and date, and change the date to a different day, the widget I build using the tutorial doesn't change. (while having the original widget https://www.stardock.com/products/desktopx/documentation/6-DateWdiget.zip downloaded and running also on the desktop, it does immediately reflect the change when the workstation date is changed. I've double checked and I'm using the exact script from the tutorial. Why doesn't the widget I made using the tutorial update when the date is changed?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
