Quoting RedneckDude, reply 9it's really not good for anything, right?
That's ok, neither am I.
I wuz gonna click the report button and have someone in authority have a stern word with you about being so negative about yourself, but it seems everybody in the top office is waiting on the jury to come back in on that one. I mean, and dontcha just hate it when authority figures are so indecisive, leaving the important decisions to those much farther down the pecking order while they twiddle their thumbs and procrastinate?
Nah, upper management ain't what it used to be. Like there was a time when you could depend on upper management to come up with something completely stupid, but not any more. Nope, they've become mere pencil pushers, signing bits of paper with orders for some subordinate farther down the line to put his foot in it instead. Yeah, it's terrible!!!
It's not like in the past where upper management came down and told you that you were no good for anything, is it? Back then you knew where you stood, and there was no confusion about your daily status because somebody in authority was always there to remind you.... but not anymore. No, these days you have to wait for the bits of paper to circulate throughout the top office, down through the middle office until it reaches the bottom office, where a not-so-in-authority person comes out with a rather diluted version [because it has been through so many sets of eyes and numerous copy machines] of what may or may not have been said upstairs in the top office.
So, there you have it... why so many people are purposeless and have little or no direction in their lives. Upper management is slacking on the job and assuming that we can fend for ourselves. Well they're wrong.... we need to be told we're no good for anything every once in a while to put a bit of perspective on things, right?
