I can't recolor the skins in windowblinds?

I can't recolor the skins in windowblinds. The new color show up on the preivew picture, but when i apply the skin the orginal color is shown. I do not have the trial version and I have tried to reinstall a serval times. Why's that? Some help plz?

You write in the OP you don't have the trial version installed, but in the "About" info, I see:

I do not believe you can recolor skins in the shareware.
