In theory you are right but I have seen bits and pieces of apps linger after a a partition restore with out a wipe (and I've done many). The only sure way to eradicate everything is a format and image restore or reinstall. Just as I would never trust blasting an image over an OS that had been infected by a virus I'm sure that there is something in this WB install that finds a way to hang around, because it did. I will do another image restore if someone can explain why I can't restore my archived apps through Impulse. When I try an archive restore a tab on the left bottom says it's attempting restore then quickly (5 seconds) goes through a download, and install process and says WB has reinstalled then the tile greys out again stating it's now "available" but it hasn't been installed.
I have my archives on a drive other than my system drive as I have a 128 gb SSD and space is precious. Is it possible the archive needs to reside on the same drive as the application?
