windows os x

i downloaded windows vista os x yeah it very cool then i tried to uninstall it to go back to my original themes which is windows vista but i can't so i prefer to delete the whole files from the program files. the files deleted but my themes change into windows classic and i cant open my windows vista themes. i tried many times to open it but it says"windows vista themes in not running" i also tried to restart my laptop and nothing happens..it's so sad please HELP ME guys!! thank you very much..

Windows osx. What is that?

A Windowblinds skin? A Visual Styles skin?

You don't "uninstall" a Windowblinds skin to change it, mate. You switch them in the wbconfig window.

And you never delete one while it's being used as your current skin. You first apply the skin you wish to change to, then delete the other through the settings tab.

Or did you uninstall Windowblinds before applying Aero?

Hint for the unwary....if you don't know what you are doing it's probably advisable to do nothing.

There's actually NO reference anywhere within the OP regarding Windowblinds or any other Stardock software...

Perhaps some more information?

No info in the OP at all, really.

If that's the problem:

Start Menu>cmd>right click 'run as Administrator'> sfc /scannow

I recall a OS-X theme for Vista... it installed using an exe file and went to Program Files. It was something along the lines of the old msstyles used by that StyleXP proggie, and to get rid of it was a pain in the butt, according to what I read. Although the theme could be uninstalled in Programs and Features in Control Panel, it left residual pieces and registry entries that caused GUI issues such as those described.

Apparently a system restore will not resolve the issue as important system files were changed, so you should probably do as DrJBHL suggests above....
