Hello,
I am having a problem with icons randomly moving around. I have a somewhat complex setup which may be having an impact.
I use two computers and each have two displays (4 displays total). I use Input Director to allow me to move the mouse between one system and the next as if it were one system. It also allows me to use the keyboard on either system depending on which one has the focus of the mouse. One PC is running Windows 7 x86 and the second is running Windows XP x86 SP3. Fences is installed on the Win XP PC and im pretty sure it worked at some point.
Whats happening now is that on Screen 1 (Just focusing on the XP PC here) I have a number of fences and they are fine as the Icons stay in their fences exactly as placed. I have a large number of files which do not sit in fences and should just sit on the desktop on screen 2. The problem is that one day all the loose icons bunched up on top of eachother on the right of screen 2. Any time I single click on the desktop, the icons rotate randomly in an area the width of about 2-3 icon columns. They always rotate anti-clockwise. I decided that because the icons in the fences stay in place that it might be an idea to create a 'Mega Fence' on screen two which would cover the whole screen and place all the loose icons into the Mega Fence. They moved into the mega fence but moved back to the right side of screen 2 shortly after. I use the free version of fences. Any ideas?
