In reality...Web browsing is only ever going to be a successful experience if one uses a system designed specifically FOR Internet browsing....namely a legitimate computer.

Portable [cell-phone] browsing is OK at best but will never be as viable as a hard-wired and capable system which the Internet has evolved around/for....

If WC offered skins for phones there might be a more compelling reason to make it work better adn that may change one day . .but likely not one very soon.

I've been looking at Android and BB skins. They're all taskbar and icons. The biggest hurdle is making icons for all the apps. The few icon sets I keep on my Droid are the ones with the biggest selections. I hate when I can't match them all.  That's one of my issues with Iconpackager. I feel like I have to make everything cause I know how I am when I have a minimal or incomplete package.

Porting icons and redoing taskbars should be pretty easy.

I have to wonder, with Impulse off the table, someone in the basement has to be toying with skins or apps for phones and tablets.
