I am one of the many people having a lot of projects on my head and needing a lot of space to comfortably work on them. A lot of files and icons go through my desktop, most of the time I am not able to keep anything organised, resulting in everlasting clutter on my computer.

But let's cut to the chase - I went through the most recent posts and did not see exactly what I am about to describe, but do tell me if I'm repeating somebody else's idea.

IDEA STARTS HERE

The thing I had in mind: Would it be possible to have more than one desktop set up at the same time? For example have one desktop for everyday use, second desktop for PROJECT 1, third desktop for PROJECT 3 and so on, and then change the active desktop with a key short cut, say SHIFT + 1, SHIFT + 2 and so on? 

This way I would be able to have a dedicated space for my projects, without having to compromise and sacrifice the space for everyday use. I believe it would be a great feature and definitely a life saver for me (and probably not only me). I would happily pay for the PREMIUM option to have a feature like this!
