WHERE...... In the world......

Hello Folks......

I'm sure there's a quick explanation for my conundrum here, but..... Yesterday I had to re-install my OS (Win7 Pro), and re-install all my programs... Via Impulse, I downloaded the many parts of Object Desktop with the choice of "Download & Archive", and no problems whatsoever. THEN I went hunting them and under the directory for Object Desktop, the only thing there is a lonely folder that contains nothing more than the Icon Developer.... I took a tour around my HD to no avail, not finding another reference to any part of Object Desktop.

 

Any ideas as to what may have happened ????? I sure thank you ahead of time for any help and in the meantime, I'm going to repeat the process and see what happens too......

There sure is...... I don't usually  reply to my own posts, but.......... I made an experiment that paid off....

 

I went to my available Object Dock downloads and tried to "Download and Archive" one I already had, and it dutifully came up and asked me if I wanted to overwrite the previous DL at: [blah} {blah} PROGRAMFILES !!!!!

 

SO, if I had been watching when I did it before, I'm sure I would have had my answer and not had to bother anybody...

So...Case closed.......

Did you install the programs? I don't think they will even be on your computer until you install them.

Did your issue get resolved, you mention program files which indicates to me that your programs have been installed.

Sorry you're having problems. Glad you solved them, though. You'll have to reinstall OD to use your backups, and Impulse to restore them.

Hey Folks !!! Really appreciate all the replies !!!! The problem IS solved...... and I am re-installing Object Dock..... (Gotta...... I love it !!)
