I previously had Stardock 1.9 I had bought and it worked fine. I changed to Win 7 Pro 32 bit, installed the free objectdoc 2 and now get the message that follows when I try to start Firefox 4. Also, Outlook 2010 will not connect to my server if I activate it via Objectdoc 2. I did read on the internet that some particular file used by objectdoc 2 may be 'read only' and that I should simply remove the restriction from this file. Except, the folder containing the file in question indicates that the folder does contain 'read only' files but checking the individual files, non of those are 'read only'. In fact, all folders used by Obectdoc 2 at the location 'Program Data' seem to have a 'read only' indication but I could not find one file inside that had the 'read only' restriction. What could be the problem????
Equally and while I can load Outlook 2010 via Objectdoc 2, it seems to be afflicted by a similar problem. It will load but 'send/receive' will result in errors.
This is the message I get when accessing Firefox 4 via Objectdoc 2 (P.S. Firefox works just fine when accessing it via the shortcut on the desktop)
Could not initialize the application's security component. The most likely cause is problems with files in your application's profile directory. Please check that this directory has no read/write restrictions and your hard disk is not full or close to full. It is recommended that you exit the application and fix the problem. If you continue to use this session, you might see incorrect application behaviour when accessing security features.
