I like the article.  One thing I want to emphasize was that we talked about the Gamers Bill of Rights for quite a bit and so the discussion there is condensed.

The basic premise of the GBOR is that it attempts to set an understood relationship between the game PUBLISHER and the game PLAYER.  That is, people should be able to return their game to the publisher IF reasons X, Y, and Z (game is buggy, has DRM that is unacceptable, or just performs poorly).  It doesn't apply to a retailer because the retailer is not the one who makes the game and I would never try to push our beliefs onto others. It needs to be voluntary.

There's no real need to retread the launch of elemental, etc.  But this... this is the reason why I'll continue to do business with SD and purchase games developed/published by your company.  Giving away fallen enchantress (to owners that bought before x date, etc) is a really savvy move.  Obviously, a costly move one at that, but its quiet clear that you want to support your fans.  Things would have gone down VERY differently with any other company.  Thanks!
