Hi,
I just got an Asus Eeepc with Nvidia Ion graphic card and Windows 7 Starter. I'm using Linux a bit more often than Windows, but still, I wanted to install Fences on my Windows partition, as I just love the functionality - great piece of software really!
Sadly the results with my computer configuration have not been good so far:
-Windows default desktop background is messed up - as I'm using the Windows 7 Starter that came with the computer, I cannot change desktop background to see if it would get any better (changing background is not allowed in 7 Starter)
-Overall, the computer's graphical performance is very badly affected: lots of slowing down, glitches, "ghost" shapes lagging behind for a long while when I move a window (or anything)
So as such it's unusable for me
If there is a solution I would be happy to buy the full version - it's really useful for me, under Linux I'm a heavy user of similar options ("folder views" in KDE4 or Gnome Screenlets)
Otherwise I guess I would just give up on it...
