Customize.org ELFIN2 anyone remember this skin?

Customize.org is a pretty cool site, its known for its minimal stuff, what do people think of minimal, do you like it or hate it?

its pretty much one way or the other, ive always liked it, but never been that good at it,

This skin Elfin2 is a perfect example of what minimal is and its truly worth a look and worth a download!

if you know of any other wb done by someone from customize.org, that is on this site, can you give a link?? elfin is the only one i know of,

hence why i promoted it.

I remember that skin...but the preview sucks. Why do people always forget to show what the taskbar buttons look like? I realize it's a minimalist skin but damn...really need to provide a true showcase of the elements.

Kitty...most of the 'older' WC members will also be/have been members of Custo....it was the first Public skinning site, soon followed by skinz.org, then Deskmod.com.

Customize.org's administration [some of] had "issues" with the concept of commercial skinning and subsequent animosity towards Pixtudio [and others] so many dropped their association, but at one time it was one of the big three sites for LiteSTEP themes.... having several hundred way back over a decade ago...

Not really into minimalist skins myself. I guess they have a place somewhere but when I think of skinning I kind of expect there to be something there that's pleasing to the eye. Minimalist skins just seem to dull for me. Then again I have seen some that although didn't look to bad they weren't anything I would use. And this one here just didn't so anything for me...just seemed one step above the default windows themes. And actually I don't even know what the definition of a minimalist skin is.

yes, ive tried my hand at minimal, but i just cant grasp it, i guess im more of a bells and whistles kind of person so to speak,

i just like stuff to be there!!

but despite all this, i do actually like that elfin skin...... dunno why, just do...
