I took a year of typing and got an A, and have been using computers for years, so I should be pretty fast. Have to wait till tomorrow to take that test, though. Too tired now.

When I took typing lessons 10 years from now, I was hitting around 80 to 100 words per minute at the end. Since then I greatly increased my speed so I would say at least 130 if not more. But I do such score in my maternal language (french). In english, here's what I got :

Percentage Accuracy : 100%
Percentage Inaccuracy : 0%
Characters per minute : 336 cpm
Characters per second : 5 cps
Words per minute : 67 wpm
Words per second : 1 wps
Total Speed status : Too Good
Overall Accuracy : Absolutely Spot on

Not too bad for a french speaking guy )

I'm afraid the words "typing speed" are an oxi-moron when applied to me
Sadly I'm not even kidding. This post took me about a minute and a half (after error correction), and there's likely still a typo in here ;0

I just sat here and waited for the time to run out to see what the results are. ummmm... How on earth can you possibly have 1 wpm and yet never actually type anything???

BTW, I did do this test and got 31 wpm and a shit load of mistakes!

not bad... if it's being dictated I'm faster, and when I get into a flow where I'm typing whats in my head and not what's on a screen or piece of paper infront of me (like now) then I'm faster biut less accurate and also I guess thats lall because I don't touch type so I can look at the keyboard. There. all one sentence too. Sue me Jafo.

So, Brad. Your test was really off, becaus I know that you type faster (a lot faster) that I do. 130WPM is probably more accurate.
