I know that one customer, more or less, doesn't make any difference
Not so Gorskin. You're not "one more customer more or less" . You're a member of the Community of people who love "skinning" and (if you'd like us to be), an extended online family.
If the apps are compatible, they should be able to be restored on any OS that can support these apps, regardless of the one on which the archives were created.
And you can. I'm quoting a reply I gave on another thread and am adding a link that will show you how to do it. OK?
" ... you can download Impulse and then archive and backup the software. Then, store your archived file on an external device. All you'll ever have to do is reinstall Impulse, and use your nickname or email and password (the way you logon now) and Impulse will restore the software to your hard disk."
You should be doing that anyway to save hours of frustration and pain.
"This is a very good thread (HERE) to save as it shows you how to do everything with screen shots (see Zubaz's replies)."
Hope this helps, Gorskin and hope you have a great holiday season.
