FauxS-X Project goes Open Source?

I have been thinking about releasing my Corel Source files for most of my FauxS-X (LastSTEP) DX objects, I think it would allow a lot of people to easily expand the project to Programs applications & Icons that I will never have the time to do. I have never done anything like this before, and I am wondering if anyone would be interested?

wow....if theres anyone's brain i ever wanted to pick about making better graphics for DX...its yours.

I'd love to have them.

I have learned of you, Paul! When he left VDE, it was a great program, and he improved a little when DX arrived. You have standardized the way to work for this program. Even, I have learned much with your tutorials. Before it saw very difficult to make DX objects.
You are the best one. That you make Open Source your files, is not important, your legacy already is done. Although if your files serves so that more people animate themselves and makes objects DX, that thus are.

I am not so much trying to preserve my legacy, as breath a bit of new life and energy, into the FauxS-X Project. I have a tun oof fun with it, but if others were contributing, it would be alot easeyer, to keep up the site, as well as keep things new and clever.

When you say release the Corel source, I assume you mean CorelDraw! image files? I think this would be nice, and would give people some great examples of how to make DX objects, but was there anything else to the project? I haven't been to the homepage for a while, and can't seem to find it again, but what I'd really like at this point is some examples of DX plugins and any other ways to extend DX. At the moment, the only app programming language I know well enough to write a DLL is VB, but I'm working on learning Delphi, with a little help from Mr. Belev. I have some really great ideas for plugins, and just need to find the time to put them together.

So, making the project open source would be a huge contribution to the community, I was just curious as to how far the project went?

I mostly just mean the Image files, as well as any templates that I have made to make the production of objects easier. I am not much of a programmer.
It doesn’t seam like much, but it is a few hundred man-hours of work, and it would be nice to see it being used.

Now this is exciting . That would make it easy to modify the graphics for one's personal needs (e.g obscure programs noone else uses etc..). You'd make me very happy, and if somebody then converted them to .PSD I'd be even happier

They could be converted to other formats, but they would lose alot of flexability, Illustrator or freehand would be better for keeping the files true to thier look and feel.

I will start putting together a plan for making them avalible soon.
