I recently ditched my Live account and removed everything else Microsoft Live, off my PC's, after my Live email account was hacked. I had a very strong password...........So cannot understand how it happened...........Until I read of quite a few similar stories around! Can you imagine my embarrassment when serious business aquaintances and friends started contacting me to say that they had received my email and thanked me for the 'pointer 'towards the so called 'wonder drug'..........however they would decline on this occassion as they were quite happy with the size of their 'manhood' !!!!!!
Microsoft don't want to know!..............so they can 'poke' Live where the sun don't shine!
Funny you should say that. I just received an e-mail supposedly from a friend, just a slight difference in the header. It had a link to pages similar to what you say. I personally have been using the Microsoft suite since it's inception and have seen all the changes. Live Essentials 2010 is the best so far, as far as Windows Live goes. I do like the messenger program because I can add my own gif images as emoticons.
I also like having a desktop mail program. Sorry but I've tried Thunderbird and will stick the Windows Live Package. I do not think you are making a mistake by installing Essential 2010. Heck, worst off, you can always take it out, but I would be very interested in knowing why, if you do uninstall it please. Maybe a follow up post? Thanks
