I am running 2.0 on Windows 7 64 bit. My mouse is set for left click double. When I click on an icon either for a program or a shortcut for a web page that program or page opens with each click. If I double click the icon, the application opens twice. It evens opens twice at times with a single click, if I hold the click too long. If I click more than twice the application opens with each click. When I check Windows task manager it shows multiple openings of the same application or page.

I have changed mouse settings from left to right click and click speed from slow to mid to fast with the same result. I use Firefox as my browser and a change to IE produces the same result.

I have searched this forum and could not find similar issues. If I create a duplicate icon and place it on the desktop instead of ObjectDock a double click produces one instance. 

I know single click is the solution, but habit is hard to break. Closing the same window multiple times is an irritant and it hogs PC resources to have multiple of the same thing open at the once.

Any comment or advice will be appreciated.
