I'd like to get the background color of these dialogs to be something not - white - dark grey or black like everything else on this theme that I'm working on. If that's not possible, is it possible to make only the text for these dialogs black?

I have the background for the similar looking windows in explorer working properly - they are grey. (However, they are only grey when windows is in Aero mode - otherwise the backgrounds are white, just like the picture above.)

Anyway, I really need to fix this, because I view these windows from behind a red plexiglass screen, and red text on a white background + red plexiglass == invisible text.

I would simply use a high contrast style windows theme, and not window blinds, but the high contrast themes disable the DWM (windows aero), and this in turn exposes a horrible, horrible bug in windows implementation of openGL. Unfortunately, the apps I'm using use openGL, and hit this bug all the time. So I need Aero, bottom line.
