Start Menu Animation

I've made a animation for a WB in the start menuuser pane. But, nothing happens. It works with the start button, and the christmas time one works in the User Pane, but not mine. I set all the settings like Mormegils, for a default but still nothing. All the frames are present. Any ideas? Thanks.

What is the size of your graphic? The only way to get it to animate is have the overall height of your graphic set to 70 or less. 71 or above will not work, at least for me. Example 3800x70. Ten frames 70 px high

Yeah, I checked the height and mine is 69, the same as christmas time. It has 14 frames which is less than christmas time(21). It is just strange why it won't work.

Did you include an extra frame at the end your animation? Settings go as:
Frame count: 15
Animation Rate: whatever ms
FF on mouse enter: 1
FF on mouse over: 1
LF on mouse over: 14
LF on mouse leave: 14
Mouse exit mode: Finish
Delay btween animation loops: whatever ms
Only works for me when you have the extra frame at the end

Yeah, I noticed that with the start menu button and it works. The settings I used were 14 for the frame count, and 13 for the last frame. I wonder if the transparency is causing the problem. Only a portion is actually animated.

In the painting options/right tree, transparent and translucency set to transparent, and set draw method to tile horiz. and stretch vert. Try that and see what you get

I got it. Mormegil had the answer. The width needs to be set one size larger in SS than the actual pane width. Thanks.

With me it was the height that had to be different than the actual graphic size...this tip was in the tips thread,hehe.
