WinCustomize 2K5: BETA open to All Stardock customers / subscribers

If you want to check out the new WinCustomize site that is in BETA right now (that means it's not done) to see what you think, go right ahead. Let us know what you think and what changes you'd like to see.

You have to be either a WinCustomize subscriber or a Stardock customer to see it. Next week it'll be available to users with Apprentice access or higher.

Really cool And fast!!! The colors must be better, a little darker perhaps so it's more easy to the eyes. But oh yes really good

Some of us need a hint on how to access the 2K5 site. I went to the link above and entered my email address and password. My name showed up in the page header, but like others here all I could get is the message that the site was only available to Wincustomize subscribers.

Same here... subscribers only...

Btw, I should be Level 3 on that site, but I am showing up as level 2 - if that's related. Not sure why, I've bought several things from Stardock including ODNT subscription.

Reble...perhaps you should read the 9 posts above yours emplicitly saying "it doesn't work", and one post from Frogboy saying he's looking into it. You might also be allergic to common sense.

Still doesn't seem to be working. Tried clearing cache and logging in again. Still no go.

No, those are just on the beta sites right now.  WC (as is) has ads, but you don't see them if you are a member.

Hello All, The issue has been fixed. It was a miscommunication between developers that was not thoroughly tested, but is now fixed so please try once more and let us know.

I can login using the browser in Starcock Central and Wincustomize Browser but can't using either
Internet Explorer or Firefox.

I just tried your username and password combo and was able to login just fine.

What kind of error are you getting?

Try this little fix first:

Logoff the Current Wincustomize site. then go to the new wc4 site and try to login.

If this doesn't work, try deleting your cookies, closing your browser and reopening and re-loggin in.

I was able to access the site without a problem. And all the links worked! Like it a lot! Seemed to load faster than this site. I really like the tabbed layout. Can't wait till the switch is made!

Tried your sugestions, can login to the old site no problem but when I try the new site it keeps
reverting back to the login screen.
