If you are having problems with ubuntu its best to go to the ubuntu forums
http://ubuntuforums.org/index.php
So if Ubuntu is on the C drive, where is Windows?
You'll need to take Ubuntu out of your MBR also, won't you?
Please give more info, like, where Windows is installed. Was Ubuntu on a separate partition, or separate drive? Etc.
I would say the surest method would be to format the Ubuntu drive/partition.

Ubuntu and Windows on Dirve C
(Boom Boom goes the forums)
Youssef did you use Wubi to install ubuntu?
RND you can install ubuntu on c: drive by using the Wubi installer through Windows. It creates a virtual partition on the windows file system. Then you can select Windows or Ubuntu on the system boot screen.
Thanks guys
