I installed skin studio on my xp and it was great( except that it only used 24 bit bmp images,) but thats not what this is about.
After I used it long enough I uninstalled it. now the "bootskin" is still there and I cant remove it. what do I do?
You might want to clarify what you mean by "bootskin", because SkinStudio has nothing to to with bootskin's as far as I know.
and, arn't one suppose to remove through Impulse?
SkinStudio and BootSkin are separate. You'll want to use bootskin to set the default boot screen then uninstall if you wish to remove it.
