Ok first off, love the product. Just have a couple of ideas that would be great to have imho. Also a few strange things I've noticed.
These are all x64 / win 7 btw
Ok, first with the strange:
The option to reserve the screen edge is great but the way it works I can't quite figure out. It seemes to either reserve way too much or just barely not enough. The issue is that depending on which style of bar, and the size, the variation in reserved space is huge so it causes applications to either be partially hidden because it's not reserving enough or things just look strange because it's reserving too much. More on this later.
Second:
The start menu icon on the dock produces a start menu that is opaque on the left side and transparent on the right. Now when I hit the 'windows key' on the keyboard... the start menu appears correctly. Obviously the placement of the menu is slightly different depending on where the dock is but the effect is always the same regardless of any combination of performance/troubleshooting options used. As a caveat, I have WB as well. I thought this may be an issue between the two and I tried tweaking things there as well to no avail.
Ok so that's the weirdness.
On to the stuff I'd like to see added sometime:
This goes to the first issue somewhat. A single click 'mode' or whatever that essentially emulates the windows/explorer taskbar but of course in the stardock flavor. Meaning a couple things would need to be added. An option to 'stretch' the dock to both edges of the screen thereby basically making it's width no longer dynamic.
The Ability to change the size of system tray icons independantly of the other items on the dock. perhaps a dock inside a dock?
Allow sys tray items AND the active windows to live on the same dock at the same time
and 2 smaller things.. the clock and calendar docklets: maybe I'm just daft which is probably the right answer here but I'm lazy and it would be nice to be able to change the format of the clock to digital or maybe something more creative? I'd also like the calendar docklet be able to point at some of the 'windows standards' like the windows calendar, etc.
Overall I like it alot but I just find myself struggling with the settings and minutia trying to get it to do what I want correctly
Anyways thanks for looking
