The box I'm on now, my "lounging" machine, before I gutted it for its case had an 1800 XP in it and 256 MBs of RAM. It was probably a fine rig when this thread was started. It still worked but....seriously.  The custom case is unique and was all I wanted to use from it. I upgraded it a bit with the innards from an eMachines T3104 w/Sempron3100+/1.5GBs DDR3200, an FX5200 GFX card and a 100GB HDD It sits in the living room as a media center/browser and runs XP HP. Laugh all you want, but it is actually a solid, reliable machine. It runs 24/7.  All the Stardock goodies (and some great skins) on it keep the ugly off of it.

I was looking for a skin name and searched the name Latitude, and this old post came up on the page. So, only half my fault!
