I've got a bunch of gadgets on my desktop. When I restart my computer I have to manually click on DesktopX, go into Load widgets and re-load them. Is there not a way of getting them to auto run?

Right-click on the widget, then click "Autorun".

If anything might not have the autorun option because the right click context menu had been overridden, you can actually just put a shortcut to the gadget/widget/object in the start menu startup folder.
