DesktopX 1.1 is coming...

A week from this Monday, DesktopX 1.1 will arrive. Stardock has been putting a massive effort behind this release. It's the first public version of DesktopX since like July.

Well, lets hope they get a very large bug fixed from 1.1rc15. With XP it STILL won't control the desktop size. Whenever the screensaver comes on, or you apply another Windowblinds theme, or anytime you adjust your display properties, all windows go back to full screen.... it was the reason I stopped using 1.0 and switched to Nextstart.... guess I won't be switching back. Time to bug the support newsgroups again. Probably get the same pat response: "We've working on it..." same as before.

It's not always to reproduce errors in order to correct them. I've done lots of DX development and have occasionally encountered the same problem, though I have not been able to isolate what causes the issue.

Believe me Stardock do the best they can but it's not always that easy unless you can give them a concrete example that can be reproduced every time.

Well, it's a very easy bug to reproduce as it does it everytime. Just surprises me, that's all... when I brought it up in stardock support there were plenty of "Me too"s and "same here". Odd that 6 months later it still does it... Oh well.
