Next year I'm gonna see if I can get a gadget for our butcher... to save hime having to use that confounded piece of string.
What piece of string, you might ask??? Put it this way, when I saw it hanging out of the top of his pants, I felt compelled to ask: "WHY????"
His explnation was that the other end was tied to his whatchamaclallit, and he used it to save wasting some much water from washing his hands. "Well that's alright, I replied: " but how on earth do you get it back in your pants???
"Oh, that's easy," he answered: "I use my tongs!"
Yup, a gadget is definitely in order there.
