Windowblinds crashes 3D application

Hi,

Whatever skin I load with Windowsblinds, it always crashes one of my 3D application when I go to the menu.
It happened with previous Windowblinds as well, in Vista and Windows 7. XP was fine.

The only remedy is to use Aero windows, the option in Windowblind 7.

Any idea why and how I can cure it without having to use Aero windows instead of the skin ones?

3D Studio MAX.

I tried nearly anything and only by switching to force aero windows it will not crash when pressing any menu.
