Default Skin in Window Blinds

When I log back in to Windows (Win7 64) the Window Blinds skin has been changed to the "Classic" style.  I would like to make Aero my default skin; any help?

Is Aero not staying applied even if you apply this through WindowBlinds?

Could you post the WB sys info from within the config dialog?

Thanks for the response Mike.

If I log out or shut down, when I return to Windows, the WB is "Classic" and not Aero.  I have overcome the issue by just going into WB and changing back to Aero, but there has got to be an easier way.

wrong info.

open the config window (the one that shows all the skins). go to the top bar. "About WindowBlinds" click it. copy the info. paste it here.

Well that is very different.  I was wondering why you wanted the .ini info... sorry for the misunderstanding

If the skins are not loading at startup make sure that the WindowBlinds service is installed and running.  You can do this by running services.msc from a run dialog or the start search in Vista/7 and checking for "Stardock WindowBlinds" in the list.

It is set for "Automatic" at start up.

Do you possibly have anything starting up that is not dwm-friendly? It's possible there might be an app running at that point that can't handle aero and dwm turns off.

Try verifying the app in Impulse. To verify the application through Impulse:

-Launch Impulse.  Right click on the entry for the application and choose "Verify Installation"
-Impulse will check the integrity of the installed application.  You should be given feedback as to the state of the installed application.
-If errors are found, an update should be made available in Impulse.  This is not an update to a newer version, but simply Impulse using the update mechanism to replace corrupted files.
-Once the update completes, reboot your PC.

Done.  Received an update and rebooted... no change.

This issue is still unresolved.  

 

Would I be able to uninstall/reinstall WB with Impuse without purchasing another registration key?

You might try running this (from Internet Explorer):
http://sd.stardock.com/mike/apps/enumerate_startup.bat

and posting the startup.log file created on your desktop. I have run applications in the past that would instantly turn off Aero because they were not compatible.
