Deskscapes and 3dsmax problems

Hi all, i'm with Windows7 x64, NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS 512, latest drivers, 3ds max 20009 x64, DS3 (obviously). When DS is in motion, in 3ds max the right-mouse click doesn't show the menu anymore. Actually, to me it seems to show and to be "refreshed" with the background so it immediately desappears. When DS is active but paused, in 3ds max the menu works as usual. This function is really important, is a contextual menu, so between DS and max i'll be forced to choose max. Any suggestion?

It sounds like a compatibility problem. I would suggest emailing support@stardock.com and see if they are aware of the problem and know of a fix. Sometimes things just don't work well together.

I run a Nvidia 8800GTS on one machine and a GTX260 on another. Max 2009 forces the desktop into compatibility mode which turns aero and deskscapes off on my Win7 64bit systems. Max 2010 does not have this problem.

The only fix I see it to turn off deskscapes prior to loading or update to Max2010 like I did.

Edit: I run the 64 bit versons of 3dsMax on both machines.
