Fading speed

One thing I'd like a lot would be the ability to set the speed at witch the fences fade in and out. Right now, it takes a few seconds for the fading when I want to hide or show the icons.

How about the possibility to set that time from zero (instantaneously pop in or disapears) to some user selected time.

Right now, it takes a few seconds for the fading when I want to hide or show the icons.

I don't know why, mine fades/disappears/appears almost instantly.   Posting your specs and OS type would assist others in determining why your Fences appear-disappear states appear to be so slow.
