Thanks to the best!

I wish to extend my most sincere thanks to all of you who commented in the thread about me being down with the flu.  Your thoughts always go a long way toward helping me to recover.  I was quite scared this time as my system is very compromised due to the medications I take for my COPD, and my breathing has become much worse.  So many of you have health issues, yet you take the time to bolster others.  This shows the true qualities of friendship and character.  Bless you one and all.

It's really been hanging on, but at least the fever has cleared.  I'm still really weak and tired.  Hopefully it will get better with time.  I hope everyone had good ANTI-VIRUS software!

It's great hearing you're getting better! Get plenty of rest, you know how grueling it can get in these forums.

Geat well soon my Dear Friend, it is never nice  with any virus, it leaves you felling yuck, mmm now why can't they come up with a virus to help win the lottery  now that would be worth having . sending  thoughts and well wishes for a speedy recovery

Great to see you back after such a long absence Boxxi.

Thanks again my friends.  I'm on the mend and hopefully will be around for a long time.  Still have to rework and reinstall this damned system, GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!.

There's your problem.

I've just had a double dose of dihydrocodeine and paracetamol. In the fridge I have a bottle of extra strong beer. Once I've drunk that all my pain will disappear. I'll most likely be unconscious for a while, but at least it works

Yeh, I imagine anything to dull pain.  Fortunately I don't have that problem.  Alcohol along with the amount of meds I take would only depress my breathing even more, so no more brews for me.  I truly feel bad for any of my friends who must endure constant pain.  I hope all of you find the best and most effective ways to cope.
