Please go to Start>Start Search, type "regedit" and hit enter. Navigate to the following key:
32 Bit: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Stardock\ObjectDesktop\WindowBlinds
64 Bit: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Stardock\ObjectDesktop\WindowBlinds
You'll want to make sure it is set to the following path:
32 Bit: C:\Program Files\Stardock\Object Desktop\WindowBlinds
64 Bit: C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock\Object Desktop\WindowBlinds
(NOTE: If you installed WindowBlinds to a different directory, replace the above default one with your custom location)
If the path was incorrect, change it and then reboot.
If it is in fact pointing to this path, try verifying the application through Impulse. If you need to, you may download Impulse here: http://www.impulsedriven.com/impulse_setup_full.exe . Once Impulse is installed it will give you the option to create a Stardock.net account if you haven't already. If you already have an account, but forgot the password, Impulse also will give you the option to retrieve your account information.
To verify the application through Impulse:
-Launch Impulse. Right click on the entry for the application and choose "Verify application"
-Impulse will check the integrity of the installed application. You should be given feedback as to the state of the installed application.
-If errors are found, an update should be made available in Impulse. This is not an update to a newer version, but simply Impulse using the update mechanism to replace corrupted files.
-Once the update completes, reboot your PC
