Yep, but that doesn't change the background of the Favorite Links 
Third question: Yes, you can. Go in "change skin colours - Roll "show me defined system colours" and change "window background color
Aah, now I understand. However, since I need the background window to be black (dark scheme skin) I guess I am not able to change that without having a white window background in a dark theme 
You can't. Nor the collapse/expand arrow
Yeah, I was refering to the top "Command Bar" but I figuered out what you said as well, the "Folders" text and arrow are not adjustable in color 
Until now I worked in XP with my own designed theme.
Now switching to Vista and am adjusting my theme but since it's a dark theme, the explorer tree folder background and favorite issue is really annoying me. Really idiot that they skinned it with bitmaps or fixed colors.
