It was brought to my attention that changing the Windows system font size to 120 DPI was not the preferred way to do it. So I tried the preferred way, Look & Feel|Fonts.
At 1st glance, it would appear to give you a more granular control of the font size. In reality, it works very poorly. For example, I increased the global font size 1 notch bigger. When I click the Start button, the text that appears on that menu is quite large; slightly larger than I would prefer, in fact. However, if I click All Programs, the text that appears is unchanged. And I have to squint while typing this because the text appears quite small to me (Ctrl+mouse wheel having no affect on the font size in a browser window in Impulse).
