OD System Tray problem

I’m using OD 1.9 plus 535u and I’m trying to unable System tray icons in one of my docks but it doesn’t work. Please help me.

p.s.: OS 7 Ultimate build 7100 x86 and Vista SP2 Ultimate x86

ObjectDock 1.9 does not support the system tray for 64-bit systems.

ObjectDock 2.0  is in development, and it will support system tray functionality on 64-bit systems.

x86 is a term that normally refers to 32-bit architecture.

Do you make difference between x86 and x86_64 architecture?

Right-click on "computer" and choose properties. Under System, there is a line that says "System type." That will tell you whether you are running 32- or 64-bits.

Can you specify your problem a little more?

I think I told it in my first post x86! Let`s say it again for you to understand - I use 32-bit OS.

What do you want to know? Dock settings > Dock contents > display system tray icons...., but they didn't show.

edit: btw when to wait new version?

So you're not using a tabbed dock for your system tray icons. Have you tried doing that? I have the same build as you, but either way works for me, so I'm curious about the cause of your issue. Have you tried uninstalling, rebooting, installing, rebooting and trying to select that option again? That build is a beta build, have you tried using the stable 1.9 version?

This OS isn't retail at the moment and not officially supported so if one has problems with it then one has problems with it

edit: btw when to wait new version?
No-one knows, last stable version was released over 2 years ago and since then we got peanuts in terms of information and quite a mess in terms of alphas/betas and ways of obtaining them.

About OS maybe you don't understand - i'm trying under 7 and under Vista, but there no difference.

I didn't know that this is beta build. Can you tell me a number of last stable build?

Windows 7 is not a good OS to compare against. It's not officially supported and it's not without bugs, it would be much better if you were to try the same actions on a copy of Windows XP (if you have one).

I do not know the exact number of the last stable build, but it's version 1.9 and this is how you get it: a) Uninstall your OD+ Reboot c) Launch Impulse and click on the Impulse orb in the top left-hand corner d) (if ticked) untick the option that says "Show pre-release version" and that will allow you to get the latest stable build of OD+. Don't forget to apply the weather feed docklet workaround (there's a thread in this forum about it) after it's installed and you've rebooted.
