I just recently bought OD+ and like many other didn't notice the 32bit only compatability ( you guys should put in a bigger font or something)

But I found an easy way to have the start menu and its requires no fiddleing with OD at all.

I use a program called Vista start menu

Manufacturer Discreption:Vista Start Menu is the convenient alternative to the plain Start menu you find in Windows XP and Windows Vista. The program uses your cognitive abilities (visual memory, reflexes,etc.); however, while it is easily understandable for beginners, it is also highly efficient for experienced users.

and i find it to be WAY better then the normal vista start and just like OD has a free and a pro ver but is 32 AND 64bit ready

If you install this and in your OD creat a new shortcut and direct it to that program .exe it will launch the new improved start menu

Not sure if this will help any one but its made things for me allot better till OD is 64bit ready
