Hi all!
I wanted to give an update on some current site issues, and a small glimpse into the future of WC. Over the past couple of weeks we have had quite a few issues with the current site. It's really at an unfortunate time because the new WC is in development mode, and pulling people off that to fix current issues is a bit tricky.
However, some issues have to be addressed, and some might have to wait until the new site appears. As was mentioned in another thread, the initial launch date was pushed back until after the Demigod release next month, but the work is going well and the site design looks amazing.
But I did want to update you on what is currently gong on.
- Uploading. This has been a source of trouble for some for the past couple of weeks, but we think all the issues have been resolved. Flash 9 is still required for the currrent WC, but the new site will have a new upload system that will work with the latest versions.
- Featured skins. As many of you have been pointing out, the featuring of skins and screenshots is not working at the moment. This is on the list to be fixed, but not estimate on when.
- Master skins. Master skins are running into an issue when uploaded. This is also on the current fix list, and I will update when this is ready to go again.
So these are some issues are we currently working on, but keep in mind that the new WinCustomize is just around the corner, so other minor issues will most likely not be addressed.
I also wanted to take a moment to recognize the efforts of Dean, who has been tracking down these issues and getting them resolved as quick a possible. Some of the people more "behind the scenes" don't often get the credit, but they certainly deserve it because of their hard work.
Since we did push the site back a little bit, I'm going to try and get at least a sneak peek screenshot or something for you to drool over.

- Master skin are working again.
- Uploading issues should also be fixed.
