I know this has been dealt with before and has something to do with settings but I have tried to fix with no luck. All my internal menus e.g. Control Panel/Sounds and Audio Devices/ Sounds / Program Events (see image) are blacked out and only show with rollover of mouse. It's driving me mental as it's about the only thing wrong on my system. Anyone help? Sorry, am using WB6.4 XP SP3  with NVIDIA GF 8600 GT.

Worked this out myself. Problem was in settings in acceessibility options, display, high contrast settings.
