I'm having a problem with two things that seem to be related:

My main dock (zoomer, bottom center, main display) refuses to abide by its "always on top, hiding off-screen for maximized applications" setting.  Everything seems to be fine, until you actually maximize an app; then the dock hides off-screen (just as it should), but after the app has been closed, minimized, or returned to "normal" size, the dock continues to hide.  Only by opening dock properties and re-selecting "always on top, hiding off-screen, etc" (which is still selected), will the dock come out of hiding (although it will unhide temporarily if you click on the desktop).

Second problem concerns the XP taskbar, which I originally set to auto-hide with the appropriate tick-box in dock properties.  I want it back, so I've unticked "hide the windows taskbar" in dock properties>general.  It no longer hides, but will not remember me ticking "keep taskbar on top of other windows" in taskbar>properties: every reboot clears the tick in the box and keeps the taskbar on the bottom.  This has never been a problem before installation of OD, and I don't remember it happening in my early usage of OD; it seems to be a recent thing.  (I've searched the net for a registry setting to force the taskbar to the top, with no avail.  Perhaps you have some wisdom you can share.
