In windows xp it was a simple as right clicking on anything and then going to the ICON tab to change.

Why can i not change individual icons for things. I have about 30 or 40 avi files and i made cover-art icons for each one but in vista it does not allow me to change it. there is no change icon option like there is for certain other things like "my computer" icon.

when i first installed this on vista I was able to right click and select "change icon" on a individual AVI file but when i selected the ico file i wanted to replace it with the app froze. when i restarted the computer the "change icon" option was no longer there. re-installed about 4 times now.

any ideas?
